Get Creative

Don't get bogged down by the arguments about Brexit, acts of terrorism and the troubles in the world. Bad things happen but it's not useful to dwell on them Go outside and look at the good things around us. Be positive and get creative.

There are lots of ways of doing this. Some people like to take a course with other creative people. A writing or photography or art class, perhaps. These can work well but it all depends on something being available locally.

There are lots of course on-line, some of them videos or blogs. A lot of them of good, some less so. And there are own workshops. But the best way to find ideas and pick up creative projects is to take time out. Slow down and smell the flowers (if there are any around).

Too much rushing around doesn't make people more productive - it's just rushing around. Spend an hour each morning clearing emails and stuff. Avoid social media and the news. Do your day job (if you have one) then take a long lunch. Go for a walk and look at the world. Most people are okay and most of day-to-day life is pleasant.

Look at the nicer aspects of life and use it to stimulate your creativity.
