Not really a festival but more of a gala, the Sedbergh show was great fun.
As well as a fabulous drumming band, Drum Nation, there were singer-songwriters and a curious selection of dogs, sheep and alpacas. Visitors listened to the music, had a few drinks and took in the lovely views.
And summer is all about festivals - a wonderful creative space for people to enjoy music and spoken word and dance.
Being at Sedbergh reminded me of all that. We have three months of (hopefully) decent weather and (potentially) lots of festivals ahead of us.
Time to get out and be creative.
